Dagenham man ‘conspired to steal vehicles’

by
Bradley Dimech

A Dagenham man has been charged with conspiracy to steal vehicles, among other crimes.

Bradley Dimech, of Singleton Road, appeared before Southend Magistrates’ Court on January 11.

The 51-year-old was accused with conspiring to steal vehicles, handling stolen goods, and going equipped to steal.

He was one of four males accused in relation to alleged crimes in 2023 and 2024.

On January 10, police executed ten warrants in east London and Essex.

Ch Insp Paul Hogben, district commander for Castle Point and Rochford said: “Tackling vehicle theft is a priority for us and we are continuing to identify and target anyone concerned.”

“We understand how devastating it can be to wake up and find your family car or your work van has been taken.”

“These vehicles are essential for people’s day-to-day lives, whether it’s running a business or taking the children to school, and they often contain items of sentimental value.”
