Little Mix star visits her Romford theatre school

by
Jesy Nelson

Jesy Nelson, the performer, paid a surprise visit to the Romford theatre school where she previously studied.

The former Little Mix member made a surprise visit to Rhodes Theatre School, much to the pleasure of the currently enrolled students.

Jesy attended the students’ practice and provided valuable advice on performing on stage.

Rhodes Theatre School said in an Instagram post: “We can’t believe how lucky we are to have had a surprise visit from Jesy.

“Did you know that she used to come to Rhodes as a child?!

“Jesy joined our rehearsal and gave us advice about performing on stage.

“THANK YOU so much Jesy, you’re the best and we loved spending time with you, we hope you will come back soon!”

Jesy, who was born and raised in Romford, stated during her visit that Rhodes Theatre School was the first place she discovered her passion to be a performer.

She rose to notoriety as a member of the girl group Little Mix, who formed during the eighth season of The X Factor in 2011.

The band had 17 top-ten hits and five number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart.

Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out, a documentary on her difficulties with body image, mental health, and online abuse, was released in 2019 and received several accolades.
